Borich-Leach Bio

Vashon Borich-Leach

Mrs. Borich-Leach started her journey into the martial arts in 1983 when she was just 9 years old. As she traveled a lot as a youth, she experienced many different arts like Tae Kwon Do, Akido, Judo, Kyokushin and Shorin Ryu.

However, she found her passion was in the Okinawan & Japanese martial arts.

In 1999-2009 she built her martial arts background in the Kyokushin-Kai Karate lineage and achieved her first black belt ranks.

In 2010 Borich-Leach Sensei began working with Kaicho Harold Mead, 10th Dan and Hanshi Ronald Leach, 9th Dan Instructors in Seiyo No Shorin-Ryu Karate & Kobudo Kai. Her continued studies have added additional experience in traditional kobudo (weapons), jujitsu, iaido, kenjutsu and advanced martial arts techniques.

Mrs. Borich-Leach enjoys sharing this knowledge back to her students at her Branson Karate dojo.

She is also the mastermind in creating the Martial Way Network. It’s through her vision that she brings martial artists together with a single purpose… to inspire life-long learners in the martial artists to train more effectively and live more vibrantly in pursuit of the Martial Way.

When not training or teaching karate, Mrs. Borich-Leach can be found building pallet craft projects in her workshop, taking hikes through the woods with her two dogs, paddling out on the lake in her kayak or spending time with her two sons, Ty and Jack. She also has a background as an experienced digital marketer, entrepreneurial coach and Web designer who is known as the TUFF Momma.
